Coal export prices at Richards Bay, Africa’s biggest terminal for shipping the fuel, rose last week from their lowest level in three months.

Coal for immediate delivery increased 1.2 percent to $86.16 (R715) a ton in the week to September 21, according to IHS McCloskey data on Bloomberg.

The contract fell to $85.17 on September 14, the lowest weekly price since June 22. – Bloomberg
