Many people are rebranding as the new year usually means a fresh start. Last year, we saw a lot of celebrities, including Cassper Nyovest, Thobeka Majozi and Gugu Khathi, to name a few, turn their lives around and join Christianity.
This year, we are anticipating more celebrities embarking on a path to “get closer to God” as they usually say and content creator Mihlali Ndamase has already started.
Ndamase, who also revealed she is vegan until further notice, shared her new morning routine, which includes communicating with God.
As you would expect, that post made it to X, and people had a lot to say about her transformation.
“The positive shift will be temporary because messing around with married men has been Mihlali’s bread and butter for so long. I’ll be surprised if this positive ‘change’ lasts,” said @1blackteacup.
Another X user, @LightlySalty0, added: “This is where they go. Very few have the longevity to keep playing at a high level, so they move to smaller leagues where they can still be the star player without the pressure that comes with it.
“The church is the retirement plan for the baddies when their knees give up.”
While some came with negativity towards Ndamase’s positive change, others reminded them that they had no right to judge her because there’s no man without sin, and God loves us all.
“You guys like acting like God is one reserved for you guys only, let the one without sin cast the first stone,” said @_PalesaLetlape.
Another X user, @somuhleomuhle, added: “The older you become, the more you realise that there is a Power higher than you. That you need God. That there’s a certain type of thirst that only God can quench.
“There’s a much deeper yearning for a spiritual encounter when you grow older, irrespective of whatever life you lived prior. Sometimes it has absolutely nothing to do with being ‘finished’.”
Meanwhile, Kefilwe Mabote is also doing the Lord’s work by giving away some clothes, including designer wear.
