Some time ago Bulgarian tuning house Vilner surprised a lot of people in the cybergarage with their first motorcycle project, a customised BMW F800 R.
However, though some may argue that it's easy to improve the aesthetics of practically any BMW, it's an entirely different ball-game to take on a style icon such as the Ducati Monster.
Actually, from these pictures they seem to have done rather well, starting with a 'chip-and-tune' upgrade for the engine that bestows upon it an extra 6kW - up from 74 to 80.
LESS THAN COMPLETELY NAKED
A special aluminium bracket carries a neat little projector headlight in a body-colour pod, and skimpy side panels give the impression that the bikes is less than completely naked, like the black and white two-piece on the young lady.
The rear sub-frame has been shortened by about 100mm to match the abbreviated single seat, which is also tilted forward to emphasise the rear contours (add your own comment about the young lady here).
The Vilner Ducati Monster Bulgari is finished in a special iridescent pearl white paint with two-tone rims.
MAKE YOUR OWN
Vilner plans to produce a limited run of 100 kits that will enable Monster 1100 Evo owners to similarly transform their bikes. Price, as they say, on application and no, Cyril, you have to supply your own scantily-clad nubile.
