The one-millionth Scirocco has just rolled off the production line and Volkswagen is marking the occasion with a special edition.
The bad news is that only the Germans and Chinese markets will get to enjoy this special Scirocco.
The updates are only cosmetic though and the package sees the Scirocco kitted out with 'Interlagos' 18-inch alloy wheels (although 'Lugano' 19-inch rims are optional) as well as R-Line bumpers and side sills, smoked taillights and 'Million' badges on the wings and rear window.
The Million also boasts a Deep Black Metallic exterior paint job and the mirror caps are garnished in Galvanic Grey.
Its cabin is set apart by black Vienna leather seat trim with contrasting seams in Snap Orange, with matching roof liner and gear-lever trim as well as stainless steel pedals and entry plates with 'Million' lettering.
Customers can choose between three different petrol engines and two diesels, the TSI units offering 90kW, 118kW or 155kW and the TDIs 103kW or 130kW.
The current Scirocco is only the third generation, with the original having been built between 1974 and 1981 and the second generation having latest from 1981 until 1992.
These first two generations were built on the Golf 1 platform.
