There are plenty of leaked photos of the 2012 Toyota Camry on the internet - mostly long on camo and short on detail - but this official picture, the second teaser image from the company of this model, shows some interesting front detailing.

It even looks like the beginnings of an attempt by Toyota to move away from its traditional anonymous styling (read boring) to something that actually expresses a design language, with crisp lines and neat headlight clusters.

The new Camry will be shown in public for the first time later this month and, while no real details have been given away, Toyota boss Akio Toyoda has been quoted as saying it'll be “the best Camry ever” (not difficult) with “remarkable handling, safety and fuel economy”.

Still doesn't grab you by the fancy, does it? We'll reserve judgement until we've seen the whole car.
