Johannesburg - Advocate Phuti Setati was appointed as the secretary of the Marikana Commission of Inquiry on Friday, it said in a statement.
“Advocate Setati brings to the commission a wealth of legal experience honed at the office of the state law adviser, where he has served as senior state law adviser,” spokesman Kevin Malunga said in a statement.
Retired Supreme Court of Appeal judge Ian Farlam is the commission's chairman, and is assisted by advocates Bantubonke Tokota and Pingla Hemraj. - Sapa
