Pretoria - The young and old are gearing up for one of the biggest Lego events.
Taking place in Pretoria this weekend, Brickfair is an annual event where exhibitors from across South Africa have the opportunity to come together and share their Lego creations and the love for the brick with the public.
Established in 2010, this event grew to be the biggest of its kind in Africa. This year, there will be over 200 tables filled with amazing Lego creations built by 122 exhibitors from across the country.
The organisers promise that there will be something for both the young and the young at heart to see.
The public can look forward to Lego displays running from castle kingdoms, fantasy wonderlands, space odysseys, mesmerising underwater worlds to moving mechanical marvels. And everything in between.
Also on display is the tallest free-standing Lego Great Ball Contraption module, breaking a world record at over 6m tall.
Brickfair is also open to anyone who would like to put their Lego creations on display for the public and who would like to engage with other Lego enthusiasts.
The event will run from today tomorrow until Sunday at Menlyn Park Shopping Centre.
Entry is free.
