Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs will be without influential midfielder Gaston Sirino for their highly anticipated clash against Mamelodi Sundowns at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville on Saturday.
Sirino received a red card in Chiefs' recent 4-1 defeat to SuperSport United, resulting in his suspension for the upcoming clash.
The 34-year-old Sirino, who was signed from Sundowns at the beginning of the season, has been one of Amakhosi's key players. So far this season he has scored three goals and provided five assists in 15 appearances across all competitions.
His suspension comes as a huge blow for the Soweto giants who are aiming to bounce back after their loss against Matsatsantsa. They are currently in eighth place in the log table with 25 points from 18 matches.

The club's head coach Nasreddine Nabi pleaded with fans to be patient as he attempts to turn things around.
"Chiefs will be without Gaston Sirino in this match after he picked up a red card in Amakhosi’s last match, against SuperSport United," the club confirmed the news on their website.
Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns will be looking to claim a double over the Soweto giants, having claimed a 2-1 victory in their first-round league tie. The Tshwane giants currently lead the log table with 48 points from 18 matches.
They have been the dominant force in South African football for over a decade, having claimed seven consecutive league titles. Should they continue their impressive displays, they could make history by securing an eighth consecutive title.
