Durban - Lauded as Durban’s Best Attraction and KwaZulu-Natal’s Visitors Experience of the Year 2013, uShaka Marine World has added one more attraction to its endless offerings of world class entertainment.
Last week, uShaka officially launched the Sea Animal Encounters Island, adding to its Wet ’n Wild, Sea World, Village Walk, Kids World, Dangerous Creatures and Chimp and Zee attractions.
The uShaka Marine World, which boosts the highest slide in the Southern Hemisphere, unveiled the island adventure where visitors can meet a dolphin, feed a sting ray, walk with the sharks or snorkel with exotic fish.
The Sea Animals Encounters Island will showcase a whole new set of exciting experiences comprising of activities such as: Meeting a Dolphin or a Seal. If a Shark encounter is on your bucket list then you can experience the Xpanda Shark diving.
There is also the opportunity to experience exotic island snorkelling - where you can explore nooks and crannies, ocean walking - which allows you to walk on the ocean floor like the divers of old in lead boots whilst feeding sea creatures, and lastly, you can take a back house tour of the island.
The Sea Animal Encounters Island is situated at the heart of uShaka near the centrepiece 1920s era cargo steamer Phantom Ship, will allow you to experience a once in a life time encounter with the worlds most exotic sea life.
