Johannesburg - MSC Opera, the sister ship of the MSC Sinfonia, is embarking on a three-night cruise from Cape Town to Mossel Bay and back.

The 251 metre MSC Opera is slightly larger than her sister ship, and can accommodate 1 700 passengers.

Facilities on board include four restaurants, 11 bars, two pools, two whirlpools, a spa and solarium, disco and internet café. There are 856 cabins, of which 172 are balcony cabins and 28 are balcony suites.

The trip leaves Cape Town on February 26, 2013, and arrives in Mossel Bay the following day.

On February 28, she departs for Cape Town, arriving on March 1.

Nights are a dazzling experience with floorshows, cabaret artists, comedians, dancers, magicians and live bands performing every night at sea.

On arrival in Mossel Bay, a continuous launch shuttle service from ship to shore and vice versa will operate the whole day.

Prices per person range from R3 269 (Category 3 cabin) to R4 431 (Category 10). Port, baggage, insurance and service charges are R590.
