Five international executive chefs have offered their expertise to create a five-course meal for the fifth Big Five MS luncheon, taking place on May 29, at Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate in Franschhoek with the patron of MS Western Cape and master of ceremonies on the day, Ryan O’Connor.

The line-up of chefs includes Darren Roberts (Grande Provence) who will head the team, Michel Louws (Huka Lodge, New Zealand), Rudi Liebenberg (Mount Nelson), Gregory Czarnecki (Waterkloof Estate) and Roland Gorgosilich (Grande Roche).

Says Roberts: “Each of the chefs will prepare one of his favourite courses to complement the new Grande Provence wines and I’m sure we will have fun during the tasting process. It will be the first time for Michel Louws in South Africa and we look forward to him being a part of this event.

“Through the marriage of great food and wine alongside an auction, with local entertainers performing, we hope this in some way puts multiple sclerosis in the spotlight in South Africa.”

May is the worldwide multiple sclerosis month.
