Relais & Châteaux invites you to New York, the only North American stop on its Culinary World Tour.

After having celebrated French cuisine at the Château of Versailles in 2011, 45 of the world’s most renowned chefs, each of whom is a Grands Chefs Relais & Châteaux, are coming to New York for an extraordinary evening of superb cuisine and the finest wines. One of these is Peter Tempelhoff of The Collection by Liz McGrath who will have the opportunity to showcase his twist on South African cuisine. Another unforgettable experience is awaiting the guests.

Comments Peter Tempelhoff, “I am really excited to be cooking alongside so many great chefs in New York this spring, the venue, the occasion and the company guarantee to make this one of the most memorable events on the culinary calendar.”

Set against the backdrop of Broadway, nature will be recreated in magnificent Gotham Hall, which will be transformed into a magical springlike setting - 15 different menus will feature the finest regional, seasonal produce, including Maine lobsters and scallops, veal and lamb from the farms of the region, seabass from Montauk.

On April 16, Relais & Châteaux, partnering with Champagne Pommery, will offer another exceptional meal to its guests; each one of them will be able to taste the creations of three celebrity chefs, accompanied by four vintages of the prestigious Cuvée Louise, including the 1990 vintage served in jeroboams.

This year part of the proceeds will be donated to Citymeals-on-Wheel, a meal delivery programme for more than 16,500 homebound elderly New Yorkers.
