The Edwardian Rose Cottage, built of local sandstone, has been lovingly restored by David and Anne-Marie Moore of Creative Escapes.

Situated in the Eastern Free State village of Fouriesburg it overlooks the Maluti mountains and offers four en-suite bedrooms with the lounge and dining room leading onto verandas.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, microwave and electric frying pan as well as a Weber braai.

Rose Cottage is an easy drive to Clarins and the Golden Gate reserve. Lesotho is a mere 7km away.

This charming cottage sleeps eight and children over 12 are welcome. The Creative Escapes concept allows participants to extend their creative talents in comfortable country retreats with personalised tuition at reasonable cost.

David Moore, an elected Fellow of the Photographic Society of Southern Africa has a deep love of nature and San spirituality and art.
