Explore the land of the passionate tango

The origin of the tango, one of the most famous dances, is not clear.

Musical historians argue that it could come from the relentless rhythms that the African slaves beat on their drums (known as tan-go), or possibly the popular music of the pampas (flatlands) that combined Indian rhythms with the influence of early Spanish settlers' music.

The tango is all about cheek-to-cheek embraces, sensuous swirls and the irresistible allure of the very sexual nature of this dance.

Whichever way you choose to look at it, the tango is synonymous with the passionate people of South America.
