Parking arrangements for the Taste of Cape Town festival, which opens at the Camps Bay High school field on Thursday and runs until to Sunday April 6, includes nearly 1 000 off-street parking bays and a regular shuttle service.

The main visitor's parking area is at Maidens Cove which holds 80 bays.

Access to this area will be controlled by Metro Police and is through the Maidens Cove entrance.

The entrance to the parking area is clearly marked with Taste of Cape Town signs.

A further 800 bays are available on the La Med fields.

Parking attendants will assist with secure parking.

The exit from these fields is via La Med service road and onto Victoria Road.

Both parking areas are approximately a 400m walk along a safe pathway from the Taste of Cape Town venue.

A regular shuttle service will run from the field to the Camps Bay High School field, for patrons who prefer the easier option.

The Taste of Cape Town opens with a gala function on Thursday and then runs over two sessions on Friday and Saturday, and one session on Sunday.

The times are as follows:

Thursday April 3: 6pm to 10pm; Friday April 4: 1pm to 5pm and 6pm to 10pm; Saturday April 5: 1pm to 5pm and 6pm to 10pm and Sunday April 6 12pm to 5pm.
