London - Kids always dreamt of tickets to Disneyland? Well get them quick, because they may soon cease to exist.

Disney is reportedly preparing to replace paper with electronic “magic bands” for visitors to its parks.

The devices, patent applications for which have been filed with the US government, would work like London's Oyster cards, the swipe passes used on buses and Tubes, and give access to hotels and other products and services provided by Mickey.

Convenient sure, but, with greater perks for Disney, who would be able to track the movements and spending of guests, bombarding them with stuff at just the right time. Magic indeed! - The Independent
