Plans to launch a new airline aimed at low-income earners while covering the less frequented airports in the country were revealed in Parliament on Tuesday.
Standby Travel, would be based on two models, a “virtual” system in which customers would apply to book for flights, but only be informed if their booking had been successful 48 hours before the flight.
In the second model, customers would fly on Standby’s aircraft, to areas not covered by commercial airlines. - Cape Argus
