The 5-star Hotel Izulu, Ballito, renowned for its eco opulence, invites guests and day visitors to celebrate the significance of Father’s Day on Sunday, 19 June, and to spoil Dad with a signature 5 course, à la carte lunch menu at the cost of R220 per person, created by the esteemed executive chef, Guy Gorrie, in the newest edition to Hotel Izulu, Gigi’s Brasserie.
A unique menu format will creatively showcase this extensive menu consisting of the “salad station”, “from the ocean, “on the braai’, “from the garden” and “for the sweet tooth”.
Sumptuous menu options are available, which includes lemon and herb calamari, tomato and basil broth and seared Norwegian salmon.
For the more hearty appetites, guests are able to indulge in garlic and rosemary beef sirloin with roast potatoes, peri-peri spatchcock baby chicken and chips or a traditional Durban chicken curry and rice, amongst other decadent dishes. Indulgent desserts consist of a chocolate brownie served with vanilla ice cream, deep dish apple pie, banoffee pie or a fresh fruit salad.
