The iconic sound, style and energy of the legendary Bee Gees is set to return to Durban this December, as The Bee Gees Night Fever plays for two shows only at the Tsogo Globe at Suncoast, on December 27 and 28.
Following a highly successful tour in Johannesburg earlier this year, Durban audiences will have the chance to relive the Showtime Australia production, starring Australian’s Zac Coombs and South Africa’s Andre Behnke and Warren Vernon-Driscoll. Together, they masterfully recreate the three-part harmonies of Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb, backed by a live band and spectacular concert production.
Director Johnny Van Grinsven says the team is thrilled to be returning to Durban. “The Bee Gees defined the sound of an era and created some of the most iconic music ever recorded. Their harmonies, songwriting, and energy made them one of the greatest acts of all time. With this show, we’re bringing that magic to the stage once again – this is a must-see for any music lover.”
Audiences can expect all the disco dancefloor-fillers, smooth 70s ballads and 60s Pop standards you know and love, including Stayin’ Alive, Jive Talkin’, You Should Be Dancin’, How Deep Is Your Love, More Thana Woman, Tragedy, If I Can’t Have You, To Love Somebody, Immortality, Guilty, Massachussetts, Night Fever and many more.
