Gladatorian, winner of the 2025 Independent On Saturday Drill Hall Stakes, is among the contenders in this year’s race which opens KZN's winter racing season tomorrow. Ridden by jockey S Veal and trained by Stuart Ferri, Gladatorian is currently sitting on odds of 14/1 behind odds on favourite Questioning ridden by R Fourie at 21/25. Questioning is a Cape horse that has come up to KZN for the winter season. Head to Greyville for all the action today as the Grade 2 The Independent on Saturday Drill Hall offers a fiercely competitive field. Expect a high-speed showdown as top-class milers go head-to-head. The race is at 1.25pm, with the opening race at 11.05.
