This momentous occasion will be honoured with a spectacular event on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the iconic Soweto Meat Lovers.
The musician passed away after a short illness at 51, early this year, in January.
Hosted by none other than her daughter, multi-talented singer and performer Rethabile Khumalo, the event promises to be a musical feast and cultural celebration that will bring together some of South Africa’s most respected artists, fans, and industry legends to pay tribute to Winnie Khumalo’s timeless contribution to the music industry.
“This celebration is deeply personal. My mom has given so much of herself to the industry and to her fans, and now it’s time to give back. I am honored to host this event and to stand beside her in celebrating a journey that continues to inspire us all,” said Rethabile.
