One day after their shock separation was revealed, Nicole Kidman has filed for divorce from Keith Urban.

The Oscar winner filed papers in Nashville on Tuesday, citing "irreconcilable differences" and "marital difficulties" to end her nearly 20-year marriage to the country superstar.

The split seems to be moving fast, with a source alleging to the Daily Mail that Urban has already "moved on with a younger woman in the music industry".

According to the same source, Urban is already renting his own home in Music City and is allegedly showing no interest in reconciliation.

While the couple consistently supported each other at premieres and concerts over the years, there were signs of trouble brewing beneath the surface.

According to a source for TMZ, Kidman and Urban have been living apart for months now.

Kidman has been filming the “Practical Magic” sequel while Urban has been on tour.

Just three months ago, Kidman posted an anniversary tribute captioned, "Happy Anniversary Baby," celebrating 19 years of marriage.

The divorce documents, obtained by Fox News Digital, lay out a clear plan for their future.

Kidman is seeking to be named the primary residential parent for their two daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14.

The proposed parenting plan allocates a sweeping 306 days a year with Kidman and just 59 with Urban.

The Australian power couple first met at a gala in 2005 and married in Sydney a year later.

Their marriage famously survived an early crisis when Urban entered rehab for addiction just four months after their wedding. He has credited Kidman's unwavering love for saving their relationship.

Representatives for both Kidman and Urban have not yet responded to requests for comment.
