South African actress Lorraine Moropa received an award in China at motor vehicle Chery International User Summit 2025.
Moropa shared posts that had images of her Haute Afrika outfit and moments of her tearfully accepting the Experience Maker Award. In one post, Moropa in her caption reflected on the tearful moment.
Her caption hinted of her experiencing pain privately and being publicly restored, promoting plenty of curiosity among fans.
“Watched God wipe my tears on an international stage after silently surviving betrayal. The same pain that tried to drown me became the wave that carried me higher.
“Privately betrayed. Publicly restore,” she wrote.
The “Nkalakatha: The Life of Mandoza” actress has been publicly linked to music producer Tyler ICU. They were last publicly seen together at the GQ Best Dressed 2025 event last month, matching in pink and black.
On her China posts, Moropa is not wearing her engagement ring, which they debuted nine months ago during a birthday trip in Zanzibar. Ever since they went public with their relationship, the celebrity couple have not shied away from posting each other and attending public events together.
Not only is Moropa seen without the ring she has been wearing religiously, a dive through her Instagram account, shows that all couple pictures and joint posts have been deleted.
Moropa and Tyler ICU have been mum on the speculation of their relationship coming to an end, but that hasn’t stopped the mill from spinning.
Despite Moropa and Tyler ICU remaining silent, speculation about their relationship ending continues to circulate.
Moropa, in one post, shared that she was dedicating her Experience Maker Award to her mother and shared what it meant to her. "This Experience Maker Award means so much more than its title. It is a reminder of God’s timing, of patience rewarded, and of grace that locates you even when you think no one is watching.
"I have been part of the Chery family for a year now, joined on my birthday, the 31st of October, and what a divine alignment that was. To grow with a brand that sees beyond the numbers, that values people, culture, and connection, has been nothing short of extraordinary.
"So this moment, this recognition, this love, it is not just mine. It belongs to every dreamer, every believer, every person who has ever prayed for more while still showing up with faith."
