Inside LaConco's 34th birthday bash: a star-studded celebration of glamour and elegance
For her 34th birthday, LaConco hosted a white-themed birthday and thanksgiving celebration, surrounded by close family and friends, as well as fellow celebrities.

When it comes to glamour, no one does it quite like Nonkanyiso Conco or as Mzansi affectionately calls her, LaConco.
The “Google me” queen just recently celebrated turning 34, and in true LaConco fashion, she didn’t just throw a mediocre birthday party; she hosted an all-white affair that screamed luxury, gratitude, and a sprinkle of drama (because what’s a LaConco celebration without a little spice?).
The birthday-cum-thanksgiving celebration brought together her closest friends, family and a few famous faces from Mzansi’s entertainment scene.
Among the guests were singer Londie London, actress Zikhona Sodlaka, and "Isibaya" star Asavela Mqokiyana and DJ Zihle, all dressed to impress and ready to toast to LaConco’s fabulous new chapter.
London and LaConco share more than just fashion flair. Londie joined the cast of the same reality show, "The Real Housewives of Durban" (RHOD), and though their start was described as “rough”, they’ve become close.
“I like LaConco because she’s more outspoken and just comfortable being herself,” London said in 2022.
Taking to Instagram, the reality star gave her followers a front-row seat to the festivities. And sis delivered.
The birthday girl slipped into a strapless white gown that hugged every curve like it was made in her honour because no off-the-rack gown could ever do her justice.
The dress featured gentle ruching, delicate beadwork, and that dramatic ruffle tumbling from one shoulder that screamed, “I know my body, I own my presence.”
Her hair was pulled into a sleek, glossy bun - neat, confident, and a little bit bossy - while her make-up served pure soft glam.
Think warm blush, winged liner, full lashes (for the drama of it all), and a perfectly nude lip to finish it off. Polished but effortless.
While she often enjoys showing off her natural beauty, no makeup, no hair extensions, when it’s time to glam up, honey, she always shows up and shows out.
But, of course, it wouldn’t be a LaConco event without tongues wagging. Among those spotted at the celebration was former president Jacob Zuma’s second wife, Nompumelelo Ntuli-Zuma.
A photo of her shared by celebrity blogger Musa Khawula made rounds online, sparking plenty of chatter about her presence and possible connection to the reality star.
Let’s just say LaConco’s history is not quietly tucked away. Her relationship with the former president included an engagement, a child (their son Sakhumuzi), and years of public scrutiny.
She’s been open about the fact that the romantic spark is now gone: “The romantic spark … died many years ago. I’m not in love with him.”
She’s made it clear she’s moved on emotionally while still co-parenting.
