Long gone are the days of fancy birthday parties and expensive treats for Sean “Diddy” Combs.
This year, he celebrated his 56th birthday on Tuesday, November 4, inside his new prison cell at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
An online report has revealed what the music mogul’s birthday menu looked like behind bars.
Brace yourself for a far cry from his usual champagne and caviar!
For breakfast, Diddy had a choice between bran flakes or whole wheat bread with jelly and margarine, washed down with a glass of skim milk.
For lunch, at around 11am, he had a choice between chicken parmesan or a chickpea burger, paired with pasta and garlic bread or whole wheat toast. He also got some fruit or dessert.
For supper, Diddy had the option of cheesy pizza, Italian pasta salad and green beans.
Sadly for Diddy, this won’t be the last birthday he’ll be spending behind bars - he’s got two more years of prison life to tackle before he’s freed on May 8, 2028.
Diddy was sentenced on October 3, after being convicted on serious charges related to transporting individuals to engage in prostitution.
Since his prison transfer last week, he appears to be settling in well enough, spotted smiling with other inmates, including former NBA star Sebastian Telfair, who ended up in prison for trying to cheat the league's health plan.
In the meantime, Diddy's legal team has been busy working on his appeal. On October 20, they asked the court to throw out the conviction and even called for a new trial.
Diddy’s attorneys have pointed out that he has been behind bars for over a year, which includes the duration of his two-month trial.
Despite multiple requests for bail that were denied, US Circuit Court Judge Beth Robinson has agreed to speed up the appeal process.
According to the judge's proposed timeline, the defence’s brief is due by December 23, with further deadlines set for both sides in the following months.
Prosecutors were asked to submit their reply by February 20, 2026. Another reply from Diddy's team is anticipated by March 13, 2026, with hearings expected to begin in April.
