The TV and film creative producer shared a video on her Instagram account of the beautiful moment when her partner got down on one knee and proposed.

“Our favourite scene yet: Saying YES!!!!,” read the caption of the beautiful video.

The beautiful engagement took place at the picturesque Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui, located on the secluded northeast coast of Koh Samui, Thailand.

Congratulatory messages flooded in from fans and loved ones, expressing their joy for the couple.

Nayimuli and the renowned director have been together for quite some time. They attended the 17th edition of the South African Film and Television Awards in 2023 as a couple, bringing their relationship to the public's attention.

The couple’s engagement comes after Nayimuli competed in the 74th Miss Universe pageant, held in Thailand.

African Beauty International, the organisation that now holds the Miss Universe SA license, announced Nayimuli as Miss Universe 2025, representing South Africa. The 29-year-old did not make it to the top 30, but dazzled pageant lovers with her outfits and confidence.

Mandla N and Nayimuli join the list of several South African celebrities who have announced engagements in 2025. Actress Rorisang Mohapi to actor Prince Grootboom, content creator Nadia Jaftha to Reece Meyer in Bali, musician Oscar MBO to Lerato Phasha, and “House of Zwide” star Shalate Sekhabi to Wanda Zuma.
