1. The Beckham family rallied around Victoria in Paris, sans Brooklyn

The Beckham family showed a united front in Paris as Victoria Beckham received a French honour for her contribution to fashion and culture.

David Beckham attended alongside their children Cruz, Romeo and Harper, with Cruz and Romeo joined by their girlfriends.

Brooklyn, however, was notably absent, continuing his pattern of missing recent family appearances. This was no shock following the explosive claims he made about his parents.

Victoria later thanked her family on Instagram, giving special mention to David as her “original investor”.

She was named an “Officer of the Order of the Arts and Letters” by the French Ministry of Culture, which praised her global influence and detailed approach to fashion.

Nando’s has denied claims made by Nota Baloyi in a lawsuit seeking R850 000 in damages over the alleged use of a sample of Brenda Fassie’s “Kuyoze Kuyovalwa” in an advertisement.

Nota claims that no license fee was paid to his record company, Urbantainment, which holds the rights to the song’s sample.

The food franchise said it legally secured rights to the track through recognised rights holders and addressed the allegations in writing back in November 2025.

While Nota disputes this and maintains that no licence was granted, Nando’s says the matter is being handled by the relevant publishing parties and that it stands by its process.
