From music to romance, Makhadzi and Blissbouy spark dating rumours while visiting Atlantis Dunes near Cape Town.

Love may be in the air for award-winning South African singer Makhadzi, born Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, after she appeared to “hard launch” her rumoured new partner on social media.
The Limpopo-born star recently took to Facebook to share cosy images with up-and-coming Lekompo and Tsonga Pop musician Blissbouy (also referred to as Blissboy or Nikka la Lekompo), fuelling speculation that the two may be romantically involved.
Although neither artist has officially confirmed the relationship, fans have been quick to connect the dots as both Makhadzi and Blissbouy continue to post pictures of each other across their social platforms.
Makhadzi recently jetted off to Cape Town for a relaxing getaway, where she shared a carousel of images enjoying time at the Atlantis Dunes.
In one of the standout moments, Blissbouy is seen hugging the “Venda Queen” from behind, with the singer visibly beaming.
Despite the affectionate post, Makhadzi kept her caption focused on business, writing: “We are going to land at Pretoria Fountains Valley on May 1. Make sure you get your tickets 🎫. ❤️❤️❤️.”
Blissbouy, however, appeared to hint at something more personal in the comments, responding: “X’madamaiza🥰♥️🔥 (My lady).”
He has also shared images of the pair, including snaps of them wearing matching outfits during Makhadzi’s recent visit to Aquila Game Reserve in Cape Town.
Beyond their social media interactions, the duo’s professional relationship has been steadily growing.
Makhadzi and Blissbouy have collaborated on several tracks, including "Cancella Lenyalo" (2026), "Vha Bloki" (2025) and "Soft Life" (2025), further strengthening their chemistry on and off stage.
Before the recent rumours, Makhadzi was widely linked to fellow musician Master KG, best known for the global hit Jerusalema.
The pair had an on-and-off relationship that began around 2020.
They first publicly announced their break-up in August 2020, citing a desire to focus on their careers.
Although they later rekindled their romance, reports in early 2023 suggested that the couple had separated again following a second split.
Master KG’s affection for Makhadzi was once evident in grand gestures, including reportedly spending millions in 2022 on a Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC 63S for the singer before their eventual split.
In a past interview, Makhadzi described the deep bond they shared, saying, “I feel like I know him more than anyone, and he knows me more than anyone.
"When I say ‘soulmate’, I don’t mean we are together or not together. It’s just that he’s always protective of me. If I move on, he becomes jealous and ensures that I don’t continue with that relationship.”
While fans eagerly await confirmation, Makhadzi appears focused on her music and upcoming performances.
Whether the connection with Blissbouy is romantic or simply a close creative partnership remains to be seen. But, for now, their undeniable chemistry has certainly captured public attention.
