Beyoncé has officially returned to the Met Gala red carpet, and her spectacular comeback was everything we've been waiting for!

After a decade away from fashion's biggest night, she made a jaw-dropping entrance that was a family affair, bringing along her husband Jay-Z and their daughter, Blue Ivy.

It’s been 10 long years since the superstar last attended the gala in 2016, back when she rocked that unforgettable pearl-embellished latex Givenchy gown.

But this 2026 return was extra special because she didn't just walk the carpet, she actually served as a co-chair for the evening alongside Anna Wintour, Nicole Kidman, and Venus Williams.

Always one to shut down an event, Queen Bey completely nailed the evening's "Costume Art" theme in a sheer, skeleton-inspired gown designed by Olivier Rousteing.

The diamond-encrusted dress was styled with matching bone-adorned gloves, diamond earrings, and a dazzling headpiece.

To top it all off, she draped herself in a furry grey ombré coat featuring a massive train that dramatically cascaded over the museum steps.

Meanwhile, 14-year-old Blue Ivy completely held her own next to her glamorous mom.

She looked effortlessly cool and sophisticated for her debut, wearing a white gown with a matching bomber-style jacket, dark sunglasses, and sparkling, Cinderella-like high heels, all designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli for Balenciaga.

Jay-Z rounded out the stylish family trio wearing Louis Vuitton.

Blue’s appearance wasn't just a fun family outing; it was a highly significant moment.

There is famously a strict no under-18 age restriction in place for the Met Gala, meaning the teenager defied a major rule to be there.

Her boundary-breaking presence essentially makes her the youngest person to ever hit the Met Gala.

For Beyoncé, having her daughter there made the historic night unforgettable.

She even gushed on the red carpet that sharing the surreal experience with Blue was incredibly beautiful.
