The wait is officially over. The first trailer of "The Devil Wears Prada 2" has finally arrived, and it is every bit as sharp, stylish and devastatingly chic as the original.

Nearly 20 years after we first saw Andy Sachs struggle with the difference between cerulean and lapis, the "core four", Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, are reuniting.

Forget about coffee and bagel runs; the stakes are high this time, and the heels are even higher.

The trailer kicks off with the ultimate nostalgia trip to Madonna’s "Vogue", but the vibes turn chilly fast.

Key moments we’re obsessed with:

  • Andy (Hathaway) returns to the "Runway" offices, only for Miranda to stare blankly at her and ask Nigel, "Who is this? Do you know her?" Nigel replies that she was "one of the Emilies".

  • Andy is no longer a bumbling assistant; she is now the Features Editor at "Runway", looking sharp and unbothered.

  • Forget assistants; it’s the executives' turn to fight. Emily Charlton (Blunt)  is now a high-powered mogul at a luxury conglomerate. Since print is struggling, Miranda actually needs Emily’s advertising dollars to survive. Oh, how the tables have turned!

  • Emily hasn't lost her bite. Her greeting to Andy? "You've changed. You're much more confident... You kept those eyebrows, though, didn't you?"

As if Miranda didn’t have enough to deal with, Margot Robbie joins the cast as a rising fashion mogul ready to snatch the crown. Between Emily’s budget cuts and Margot’s ambition, Miranda is fighting a two-front war that culminates in a dramatic showdown at Paris Fashion Week.

In addition to the returning cast, the film sees an all-new line-up of characters, including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak and Conrad Ricamora.

Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman also reprise their roles as Lily and Irv, respectively, from the first film.

"The Devil Wears Prada 2" is set to release on May 1.
