Award-winning Afro-soul singer Nomfundo Moh is about to shake things up this summer with her new EP, "Out The Box".
Fans are in for a treat as Moh has teamed up with an impressive line-up of artists for this project.
The tracklist features collaborations with DJ Zinhle and MK Productions on the song "Amazwi", Loyiso Bala on "Ixesha" and Sun-El Musician, Lee Keyz, Ndloh Jnr and Simmy on "Ngiyakhala".
Other collaborators include Blue Papi, Sminofu, Menzi, Inkosi Yamagcokama and Nontokozo Mkhize on songs titled "Soze", "Umathandana" and "Valelise".
"As a giver, I’ve always poured myself into full-length albums for my MohFam, but this time, I wanted to give differently - something short and sweet," says Moh.
She continues: "An EP felt right. It’s me having fun, pushing boundaries and asking, ‘How far can I go with sound?’ It’s scary, but exciting. Let’s go 'Out The Box' this summer - beyond just Afro-pop, let’s do MOH!"

True to its name, "Out The Box" is set to invite listeners to experience a fresh take on Moh's artistry, mixing Afro-pop with a variety of genres, including an intricate blend of 3-step, Maskandi and pop.
"'Out The Box' is a fearless exploration of sound and self, matched by innovative, creative content that literally takes Nomfundo 'Out The Box'. From unexpected collaborations to daring challenges and vibrant visual storytelling, this project reflects both her musical and personal evolution.
"It’s a bold step forward that celebrates her growth, versatility and determination to break barriers," says a statement from Sony Music.
To further enhance the experience, each track is paired with its own unique visual concept, which brings the songs to life.
"At the heart of the EP campaign is a striking physical purple box, styled in the aesthetic of the project and serving as its central visual symbol. Through bold, story-driven digital content,
"Nomfundo is quite literally and creatively taken 'Out The Box' - connecting her evolving sound to personal storytelling, reinvention and fan engagement," the statement says.
Moh has been on a musical streak this year. She has previously teamed up with Blaq Diamond for the track "Ndizamshini", Inja Kabi Lena for "Umafikizolo" and Mörda for "Glory", which she has just released visuals for.
The "Out The Box" EP follows the success of Moh's last album, "Twenty Four", which was released in August last year.
• "Out The Box" will be available on all major digital platforms from Friday, September 26.
