Social media is buzzing after renowned musician, Vusi Nova shared a teaser of his upcoming music video with an unexpected appearance from Gqom singer, Babes Wodumo (real name Bongekile Simelani).
Taking to Instagram, Nova (real name Vusumzi Nongxa) shared a glimpse of what fans can expect from the music video, with the pair playing as an on-screen couple.
Captioning the post, he wrote: “Wena wodumo! She’s the moonlight. She’s the air I breath in. She’s my melody. I don’t wanna be without my baby.”
The clip shows multiple scenes including the pair engaging in intimate moments such as cuddling in bed and in another scene, the musicians are seen feeding each other snacks.
In another scene, Babes Wodumo rocked a red sheer gown that slightly shows her red lingerie.
What got tongues wagging were the steamy scenes that both musicians were portraying, with fans admiring how good they look together and expressing that they should consider dating in real life.

While some fans expressed that they are not a fan of the steamy scenes or the idea of the musicians dating.

Babes Wodumo was married to the late musician Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo who also her manager.
Prior to his death in 2022, they were deemed one of SA’s power couples until their relationship was surrounded by controversy following allegations of domestic abuse.
Their relationship was featured on the reality show “Uthando Lodumo” that gave fans a glimpse of their lives as Gqom superstars.
The couple share a son, whom they welcomed in 2021, a few months after tying the knot.
While Nova has kept his personal life, including his romantic relationships away from the public eye.
