Grammy Award-winning R&B icon Maxwell is coming to South Africa. He will be performing live at Sunbet Arena in Pretoria and Grand Arena, Grand West in Cape Town during Women’s Month.

2026 Marks 30 incredible years of Maxwell’s career. His debut album, “Urban Hang Suite,” was released in 1996, and now he brings his soulful sound to South Africa once again.

Women’s Day weekend is four months away, but it is already looking like one of the busiest on the social calendar.

August 9 falls on a Sunday, meaning a long weekend for South Africans. The moment allows for family, friends, and everyone who loves a good time to be outside.

Six-time Grammy Award-nominated singer, songwriter, and multi-platinum-selling international R&B superstar Tamia will also be heading to South Africa this August.

Tamia is set to headline The Biggest Women’s Month Celebration Tour Experience taking place on August 6 at Grand Arena, Grand West in Cape Town, August 7 at Durban ICC in KwaZulu-Natal, and August 10 at Sunbet Arena, Time Square, Pretoria.

She is known for her mega hits such as “So into You”,“Stranger in my House”, “You put a move on my heart”, “Still”, Officially Missing You”, “Who do you tell”, “This Time it’s Love”, “Careless Whisper”, “Rain on Me” and many more.

Tickets for Tamia live in South Africa start from R750 - R1450 and the concert is organised by Remoakantse Holdings(Pty)Ltd.

South African singer-songwriter Shekhinah has announced the return of her women-led R&B, pop, neo soul and alternative festival Rosefest.

Following last year’s demand for the event, Shekhinah and her team are upping the scale, moving to a new venue. “We’ve doubled the capacity and moved to Casalinga to celebrate South African women properly.”

DJ Zinhle’s besties' favourite festival, Zee Nation Fest, will be taking place on the same weekend as well, a clear indication that there will be plenty to do on the long weekend.
