Rapper Cassper Nyovest has finally released the music video for his hip hop banger “Kusho Bani”.
Since the video dropped on Tuesday and has reached 202,654 views on YouTube many of the award-winning rapper’s fans are pleased with the crisp visuals.
"You got the best visuals in SA hip hop ❤️🔥," said djecstacy5 and GoodmanKhoza compared it to Woolworths quality.
@QuincE351 commented; "This gottta be record 200k in one day nah cass still got it."
For the choreography, Cassper Nyovest teamed up with Soweto's Finest Dance Studio, for a fire routine, that incorporated the song's dance challenge.
Cassper Nyovest released the visuals to the catchy tune, during a live stream party that he hosted with his best friend Carpo and had special guests that had some of the country’s YouTubers including Ghost Hlubi, King Oumar, rapper The Big Hash and comedian Abuti Lolo. The livestream had over 10 000 views on YouTube.
Fans praised the rapper for the visuals but some argued that one thing was missing, his wife Pulane’s appearance to accompany the famous “Have you seen my wife” line.
The lyric has sparked quite the craze of a challenge on social media, even American former tennis player Serena Williams. Kenyan digital creator and model Achieng Agutu got Williams to participate in the Hosh’Karamaima challenge at a recent event hosted by the tennis legends’ makeup brand Wyn.
Cassper Nyovest could barely contain his excitement and tweeted: “Not Serena Williams jumping on the Hosh’Karamaima challenge!”
The rapper’s joy was evident as he followed up with another tweet in Setswana: “Pina yaka e postilwe ke Serena Williams le bone bo chommie? Skai ketsa MacGyver! (My song was posted by Serena Williams - did you see that, friends? Don't play MacGyver with me!")
