European Film Festival in South Africa 2025
The 12th European Film Festival in South Africa is a cinematic journey in search of love, identity, family and belonging. The smaller curated programme online reflects on the realities of Europe and its place in the world now.
With titles like "Le Mohican", "The North" and "Unicorns" featured in this year's selection, it is an opportunity to appreciate European cinema without leaving home.

Ethel
Lisa Bobbert is stepping into the shoes of the unforgettable Ethel Merman with her one-woman cabaret tribute.
Merman was known for her powerful voice and incredible performances in musicals such as "Gypsy" and "Annie Get Your Gun".
Bobbert promises to bring Merman's spirit back to life on stage with a show that captures the excitement, drama and nostalgia of Merman's standout career.
Directed by Darren King, this cabaret is perfect for anyone who loves musical theatre and wants to relive the magic of Broadway.

ADHD
Aaron McIlroy with his uproarious take on ADHD. In his show titled "ADHD", McIlroy invites audiences along on a wild and wacky journey through the chaotic but beautiful world of learning disorders.
He turns common ideas about ADHD upside down, mixing facts and humour in a way that entertains while enlightening.
McIlroy has personally experienced living with this "gift" for more than fifty years, and his insights, scripted with Patrick Kenny and directed by Kenny, guarantee laughter and a new understanding of ADHD.
