In a captivating new musical, written and directed by Bukelwa Cakata, audiences are invited to explore a significant and heartfelt story about the challenges faced by African women.

"Thetha Mosadi" brings attention to important issues that many women continue to face in today's society.

The story revolves around a young married woman named Nomathemba. Her life takes a drastic turn when she is involved in a car accident that leaves her unable to walk.

Through her journey, the musical showcases Nomathemba’s struggles as she tries to navigate life in a world that is often ruled by men. The show highlights the difficulties she faces, especially as a disabled woman.

Nomathemba’s story is not just about her physical challenges; it also explores the emotional barriers and the harsh realities of gender-based violence that many women endure.
