International rapper Travis Scott is set to bring the house down when he performs at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on October 11, as part of his extended "Circus Maximus" World Tour.
The "Circus Maximus" World Tour, produced by Live Nation, will see Scott perform in five countries, including India, South Korea, China, and Japan, and end in Johannesburg.
Ticket prices start at R915 for general admission standing, for front zone standing, which is a hot spot, you can pay R1,880. For a reserved seat ticket, you can pay from R685 to R1,595; for an aisle seat, you can pay from R780 to R1,690.
For a good view of Scott, you can pay R 6,018 for a VIP early package for front zone standing, for a VIP premium seat, you can pay R 5,733, and for the Hall of Fame Lounge, R 6,319.25.
Tickets for Travis Scott’s Circus Maximus Tour presented by Castle Lite Unlocks go on sale this Friday, March 28, at 9am through Ticketmaster and Big Concerts.
Scott first performed in South Africa back in 2017, sharing the stage with Bryson Tiller.
His return is brought to Mzansi by Castle Lite Unlocks, which has previously brought Drake, Wiz Khalifa, and Post Malone.
FNB Stadium is known to host several big concerts and has certainly improved following the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 aftermath in 2018.
FNB stadium, known for hosting major events, gets additional security working with police and official traffic officers, extra lights that extend into its parking lot, and ground security personnel.
The introduction of the park and ride has made getting to the stadium and back home easier, allowing attendees to escape the traffic that comes with leaving and entering the stadium.
The tragic events of Scott’s Astroworld Festival in Houston, Texas, in November 2021, where a crowd surge during his performance led to the deaths of ten individuals due to compressive asphyxiation, have made some people concerned about the safety at the upcoming concert.
