Jozi Meth was gearing up to celebrate her 45th birthday when she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer

One month before her 45th birthday, Durban PR powerhouse, loving wife, and doting mom of two boys, Jozi Meth, was diagnosed with hormone-positive Breast Cancer.
Instead of letting it get her down, Meth armed herself with knowledge and tackled her diagnosis and treatment head-on.
Meth sat down with IOL Content Manager, Se-Anne Rall to discuss her journey through cancer and the lifestyle changes she has since implemented, which include taking more time to care for herself and focus on making healthier decisions.
Her advice to women, "Advocate for yourself and make the most of the resources around you. Cancer can affect women as young as 20. Women need to take care of their health. Health is wealth."
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and IOL encourages women of all ages to regularly self-examine their breasts.
