After years of building a life together, media personality Lamiez Holworthy and rapper Khuli Chana have officially tied the knot.
The couple said their “I dos” during what was reportedly a private three-day wedding celebration held in Mahikeng in the North West, with the festivities kicking off on Friday, April 10 and wrapping up on Sunday, April 12.
Keeping things low-key, the pair reportedly opted for an intimate guest list made up of close friends, family and a few familiar faces from the entertainment industry.
Holworthy’s friend, Lebogang Tlokana, widely known as The Funny Chef, was also spotted at the wedding celebration.
The DJ stepped away from the traditional white gown and opted for a blue reimagined traditional look, made from Batswana fabric.
The dress featured a structured, off-the-shoulder bodice with detailed beadwork, flowing into a dramatic layered skirt with feathered accents that added texture and movement.
Chana kept it coordinated in a tailored blue suit, pairing it with a crisp white shirt. The look was sharp and simple, allowing the colours tie in seamlessly with his bride’s statement dress.
“You put me and our children first. I have no doubt even in my sleep that you love me. And I remember when you said to your family, ‘I want to marry this woman’, and they wondered why because it's only been three months. And seven years later, we're still married.
“He still treats me like a queen. We have a family of our own. And that for me is how I know that God loves me,” she said.
Despite the tight privacy around the event, videos and moments from the celebration shared online gave a glimpse into the beautiful weekend.
Their relationship dates back to 2018, during her speech, Holworthy shared that Chana, whose real name is Khulane Morule, paid lobola in 2019, after three months of being with Holworthy.
This marked an important step in their journey long before the white wedding.
In 2023, they welcomed their son, Leano-Laone Zion Morule, adding another layer to their relationship.
Over the years, the pair has built a reputation as a couple that shows up for each other, whether it’s through their careers or personal milestones.
Holworthy has often spoken about motherhood and balancing it with her work as a DJ and radio host, while Chana continues to hold his place in the industry as one of the pioneers of Motswako hip hop.
The wedding itself blended traditional elements with a more modern celebration.
Videos shared online show moments of dancing, music and family coming together, reflecting both their cultural roots and their personalities.
