The South African Football Association (SAFA), in collaboration with adidas, officially unveiled the new Bafana Bafana 2026/2027 home jersey on Tuesday.
The announcement marks adidas’ return as the national team’s technical sponsor, replacing the previous partnership with Le Coq Sportif.
The new kit draws inspiration from the 2010 FIFA World Cup design, keeping the classic yellow base and green trim. It also introduces several new features that connect to South Africa’s heritage and identity.
Another notable feature is the unified look, as both Bafana Bafana and Banyana Banyana will wear the same home kit design.
Bafana Bafana will debut the jersey on the field in their opening 2026 FIFA World Cup match against Mexico at Estadio Azteca on June 11. The kit celebrates heritage, family and a forward-looking design.
The jersey will be available for purchase from March 20.
