Entries are open for the 5th South African Premier Business Awards

Entries for the 5th annual SA Premier Business Awards

will close on 13 October, 2017 

Companies and qualifying entities are invited to enter in to one or more applicable categories, which are:

* Manufacturers Award

* Exporter Award

* Enterprise Development Support Award

* Women Owned Business Award, Investor of the Year Award

* Proudly South African Enterprise Award

* Play your Part Award, SMME Award

* Young Entrepreneur Award

* Black Industrialist Award

In addition, a Lifetime Achiever Award will be made to a person or persons who have made a significant contribution to the South African economy through their business activities over a period of 20 years or more.

The Awards, which will be held in Johannesburg on 7th December 2017 are hosted by the Department of Trade & Industry (the dti

) in partnership with Proudly South African and Brand South Africa. 

The SA Premier Business Awards

recognise and honour the spirit of success and innovation, acknowledge enterprises which create jobs and demonstrate good business ethics. The Awards’s prestigious seal of approval, which can be used by all winners on their labelling, packaging, marketing and other collateral, is a sign of success, quality, innovation and a commitment to job creation and economic development.

All submissions will be subject to adjudication by an expert panel of judges.

According to the Minister of Trade & Industry, Dr Rob Davies, the Awards highlight how business excellence is making a positive contribution to South Africa’s global competitiveness and send a message that we are a country open for business.
