Gearing up to be part of the largest orchestra Durban has ever seen are violin pupils Reinhardt Henn, Alyssa Henn, Saiyaan Chettiar, violin teacher Giselle Human, and Saiyuri Naidoo.
They will be performing in Music en Masse at the DLI Hall, Greyville, tomorrow at 2.30pm under the baton of Russell Scott. The annual event from the British Cultural & Heritage Association is a fun concert aiming to bring together anyone who can read and play music, from all ages and cultures in KZN to create “the biggest orchestra ever seen in Durban”.
For Human it's a great platform for professionals to perform alongside their students. "It is an extraordinary showcase promoting the power of music and the joy of community," she said.
Tickets at the door R120 adults, R100 pensioners, R60 children under 12.
