MOVE over, Netflix, psychic medium Priscilla Gendron has shared her vision for 2026, and Hollywood might want to take notes.
It’s a year of “new beginnings,” she says, though the issues she rattles off sound decidedly old: corrupt politicians, looming floods, and a global K‑Pop invasion that may leave South Africans singing along whether they like it or not.
While the municipal elections are still a year away, Gendron claims the backstabbing has already begun. “There’s also going to be the same old, same old things like electoral fraud and missing ballot boxes,” she warns.
And the biggest plot twist? President Cyril Ramaphosa will be edged out of power - officially “for his health.”
Gendron, who heads up the Mystic Minds Network, a global group of psychics who gather online every month to counsel people worldwide, also flags the Department of Finance. Its books don’t add up. “It warrants further investigation… but weirdly, people are keeping their lips sealed. There will be plenty told to stay quiet, or forced to,” she adds.
Things don’t bode well for whistleblowers, either. A lot more people will “suddenly die” or have “unusual accidents” when exposing corruption, and the nation will hear, “Oops, sorry, this person died,” she notes.
Internationally, she sees Palestine, Russia, Ukraine, and Israel remaining in the news for all the wrong reasons.
And Zuma? “Well, what can we say about him? He’s still the piece of work he is, quietly plotting with his minions to hold onto power.” Strangely, he won’t have any money again, and his health is a concern, says Gendron.
But there’s hope: a young man under 40 will emerge as the country’s voice of reason, the light at the end of the political tunnel.
Gendron also predicts that South Africa will continue to snub the Americans diplomatically. “They’ve already shown the Americans the middle finger. But the Americans are going to be throwing their toys out of the cot, globally.”
She warns the government to be careful with its alliances. “They need to remember not to sell their soul to the devil. These countries don’t care about all this Kumbaya stuff — they just want resources.”
Other warnings include the proliferation of what she calls Chinese “police stations” across South Africa — unofficial stations that may be dealing with Chinese nationals. Meanwhile, the government’s handling of solar energy will be under intense heat; solar will “explode” in popularity, but come with controversy as the authorities try to charge households for generating their own power.
Tragically, a sports icon who has been in the public eye for more than 20 years will pass away, sending shockwaves through the nation. But on a brighter note, K-pop band Flower will bloom across the world — even in South Africa — capturing hearts and dominating playlists.
Through the chaos and corruption, Gendron sees a spiritual thread: 2026 is a “number one” year, all about new beginnings and boldly stepping into your power. She predicts that the colour blue will dominate, signaling good communication and giving you the courage to speak your truth. And just to make sure it all falls into place is the Hindu goddess Lakshmi, bringing fortune, abundance, and a little magic to those open to receive. It seems we are on track for a year of drama, danger, and unpredictability, but also of awakening, action, and possibility. If you listen closely to Priscilla Gendron, 2026 won’t just be another year; it will be a cosmic plot twist you won’t want to miss.
