The Durban University of Technology (DUT) will celebrate World Homoeopathy Week with events running from April 7 to 10. This annual celebration honours Dr Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homoeopathy, and promotes a unique and effective system of natural medicine that has been embraced worldwide.
The DUT Homoeopathy Community Health Centre will mark the occasion by offering free homoeopathic consultations to the public. These consultations not only spotlight the benefits of homoeopathy but also illustrate how this gentle and natural remedy can support the health and wellbeing of all family members, from the youngest to the oldest.
Located at the DUT Ritson Campus in Berea, Durban consultations will be provided by senior homoeopathy students as part of their clinical training, under the watchful eye of qualified practitioners. Each consultation will include a comprehensive case history, a physical examination, health checks, and one free homoeopathic remedy tailored to the individual's needs.
