In a deeply personal and emotional reveal, acclaimed singer-songwriter Langa Mavuso has announced his forthcoming album, Therapy (The Other Side), set for release on October 3, 2025. Far from just another musical offering, the project is described by Mavuso as a collection of “letters to myself”, a raw and vulnerable exploration of identity, healing, and self-forgiveness.
In a heartfelt diary entry shared with media partners, Mavuso steps away from the spotlight and speaks directly from the heart.
"Today, I write to you not as an artist chasing moments of perfection on a stage, but as a man—open, tender, and in search of truth," he begins.
Set to open for pre-order on September 19th, the album promises to guide listeners through a journey that is as spiritual as it is emotional. Therapy (The Other Side), he says, is not just music—it is catharsis.
"It is more than a project - it is a collection of letters to myself. Each track is a page torn from my soul, a confession, a memory, a prayer. Pre-orders will open on September 19, and I hope you will walk with me as we begin this journey."

In his own words, Mavuso invites his audience into the deeply introspective space that inspired the album’s creation:
"This album is my form of therapy, a space where I sat with every version of myself—the lost boy, the seeker, the healer, the believer. I wrote to them. I sang to them. I forgave them."
Through the project, Mavuso explores themes that are as universal as they are intimate: loss, discovery, healing, and spiritual seeking.
"The themes you’ll find throughout the project are heavy, but honest:
• Loss – of love, of self, of direction. • Exploration – of the unknown, of feeling, of identity. • Healing – gentle, painful, necessary. • Seeking – a journey back to God, faith, and stillness."
He also signals a new creative direction, one that bridges music with fashion, performance, and digital storytelling, as part of a larger, immersive experience.
"I am ushering in a fresh, youthful era - one where I am not only seen as a musician but as a mirror to my generation’s emotions, fears, and hopes. Through social media posts, live performances, fashion, and intentional collaborations, I am creating a multifaceted experience that invites more people into the world of Therapy (The Other Side)."
Mavuso closes his note with gratitude and anticipation.
"Thank you for opening your platform and your hearts. I can’t wait to share this next chapter with you."
Langa Mavuso’s Therapy (The Other Side) promises to be more than just an album - it’s shaping up to be a movement of introspection, truth-telling, and collective healing.
