DURBAN – There is a big punting weekend upon us kids and, from my surveillance, Hollywoodbets gives us the best average overall across all sports.
It’s Afcon qualifiers and Uefa’s new ‘home’ competition on the go for the next 10 days.

The Uefa Nations League is the new kid on the block. It pits nations against similar competition within 5 leagues, culminating in playoffs - and Euro 2020 qualifying spots. It’s a lot going on!
There are some tight contests this weekend, with the likes of Turkey (11/10) vs Russia (5/2), Switzerland (7/10) plays Iceland (4/1) and England versus Spain with them being evenly priced at 16/10 the pair. We like the Swiss and the other two away teams to come up trumps here, but take +draw if you’re too shy to take a dip.
Italy at 8/10 hosts Poland at 4/1, and will be keen to show they should’ve been in Vodka country in the summer. Go with Italy to stamp their authority, with a toooit defence.

In Afcon Bafana have a real chance of getting into a continental or world tournament. And not as hosts, for once. Let’s back Bafana at 6/10 to make a meal of Libya at 6/1, 1-0 is a lekker meal by the by.

In the local shandiz, Sharks will do the handicap tonight, then build onto Lions and Bulls tomorrow. The Rugby Championship is back on the box, with all the tri-nations teams ringing major changes. As much as half the team has been rotated by the World Champs, and soon to be the 2018 Rugby Championship winners. It won’t make a jot of difference to the result, fellas.
The All Blacks take on a resurgent Argentinean team, the only one to remain unchanged after they chowed the Boks two weeks back.
Now on the road, they will have a tough task against a strong second string team in Nelson tomorrow morning. Richie Mouanga is the one most will be eager to see, as the incumbent Super Rugby-winning flyhalf for the Crusaders.
I would like to back an upset here at 12/1 but, unfortunately, I’m a huge fan of the new-look Kiwi line up, so I’d have to say home team to take this. The handicap may be a bit much for players who haven’t played much together - and this still is Test rugby after all.
Argies at +26 is a gift you can’t ignore. Put the mother-in-law on it, and you won’t lose out either way!
But we all know the power of those All Black rippers in the second period. Go against them at your peril.

With the Boks, those changes are plenty but I’m in doubt of them making a difference, a slightly older Kurtley Beale may show up Jantjies to perhaps end his international career, so go Wallabies her spread and all.
