Kagiso Rabada is steadily working his way up the Indian Premier League (IPL) bowling charts with some top performances in his last three games for Gujarat Titans (GT).

On Sunday, Rabada returned figures of 2/22 against Punjab Kings as his side restricted the hosts to 163/9 in their 20 overs in Ahmedabad.

GT won the tight contest off the penultimate delivery of the match to secure a four-wicket victory.

The 30-year-old leader of the Proteas attack has 16 wickets to his name from 10 matches in the 2026 edition. He is just one wicket behind Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Anshul Kamboj, who are tied with 17 wickets in the competition.

Rabada’s Impressive IPL Season: Best Figures and Top South African Wicket-Taker

Rabada has his best figures this season of 3/25, which came against Chennai Super Kings on April 26.

In fact, Rabada has only gone wicketless in two matches so far.

The fast bowler is the only South African quick in the top 20 in the wicket-takers in the IPL, with left-arm pacer Nandre Burger the next best at 22nd with nine victims to date.

Lungi Ngidi is 32nd, with seven wickets, while Marco Jansen is 39th with six.

Meanwhile, with the willow, Heinrich Klaasen is currently third on the run-scoring charts in the IPL, with 425 runs at an average of 53 and a strike rate of 156. He has also scored three half-centuries as he is just 15 runs behind his table-topping Sunrisers Hyderabad teammate Abhishek Sharma.

Klaasen announced his retirement from international cricket in June last year, after playing 60 ODIs, 58 T20Is, and four Tests.
