It’s that time of the year once again when music lovers from around the world rush to view their Spotify Wrapped as soon as it lands.

Spotify dropped its highly anticipated annual music wrap on Wednesday, December 3 and this year, it’s safe to say the streaming giant redeemed itself after last year’s underwhelming rollout.

Wrapped 2025 comes packed with cool graphics, witty captions and interactive stories that make looking back on your music year actually fun and enjoyable.

Spotify app users took to social media to share their stats from the “Wrapped 2025” and pointed out the difference compared to Spotify Wrapped 2024

For most, Wrapped 2025 is the best and “beautiful”. There are stats for everything from the amount of time you spent listening to your favourite artist to a quiz about your “Top Song” and your “Listening Age”, which is predicted by the type of music you listen to.

Spotify also included interactive moments where you can scroll through your music archives for listening habits throughout the year, this includes your “Most Diverse Day” to “Biggest Music Listening Day”.

One of the highlights is the brand-new “Wrapped Club”, which shows your listening style and highlights the “emotional qualities” of your year in music. The app explains that the purpose of the feature is to celebrate one’s distinct taste and what they have listened to the most.

“Each Club celebrates your distinct listening, and every member gets a special role within their community, from trendsetters and tastemakers to loyal fans and playlist pros. It’s a fresh and fun way to explore your music community and the listeners who groove just like you,” the website reads.

Another one is the “Wrapped Party”, where you can challenge your friends to a listening battle, according to the music streaming platform.

The banter throughout “Wrapped 2025” is another win for the streaming platform; not only are they witty, but some shade was thrown in there too, mostly exciting the app users.

Some are chuckle-worthy, and some will just make you nod because, yes, that is exactly how your streaming throughout the year went.

As mentioned earlier, app users were not pleased with Spotify Wrapped 2024. For many, it felt rushed and was missing a lot of features that they have come to enjoy over the years.

This year’s edition seems to have impressed them; here’s what they had to say:

“Spotify Wrapped 2025 is way too beautiful and detailed. Better than that nonsense they put out last year. This one is way too beautiful,” said an app user.

Another one shared the same sentiment, saying: “Spotify Wrapped ate this year 😅 the design, the shade, the accuracy? brilliant.”

“Aesthetically, this was the best wrapped in a minute," another one added.

Spotify Wrapped 2025 is fun because it doesn’t just celebrate your top songs; it also includes personalised playlists to let you relive the moments in sound.

Whether it’s your favourite summer banger, the emotional song that carried you through heartbreak from a break-up that totally blindsided you (I can relate), or that guilty pleasure song you won’t admit to anyone else.

Founder and chief executive officer of Spotify, Daniel Ek, took to X to share his excitement about the big reveal.

“Wrapped still surprises me every year…not because it exists (I obviously knew it was coming 😅) but because of how huge it’s become."

“What started as a small idea over a decade ago has grown to more than 11 trillion minutes of global listening this year alone, and a moment hundreds of millions of people screenshot, joke about (yes, even at our expense), and share every year,” he wrote.

He further added that this year’s experience is their biggest yet.
