The genocide taking place in Gaza is sickening; it must be stopped

As we all daily watch the sickening reporting of the genocide taking place in Gaza and now in the West Bank, we are at risk of just switching channels to view something a little less disturbing and upsetting.

Like maybe Netflix or Prime… even the South African Broadcasting Corporation. We are at risk of doing nothing in the face of the greatest human catastrophe since the Second World War.

It is genocide beyond any shadow of a doubt. As much as Hitler and Himmler wanted the elimination of all Jews from the face of the earth, so the triad of Netanyahu, Smotrich and Ben Gvir want to see the Palestinians obliterated from the region if not the face of the earth.

Gas chambers and firing squads on the international news services would not go down well for the Israeli cause. It might even upset Israeli citizens. It might even upset the Americans. But we are all inured to aerial bombing, drones, and missile attacks, so this is exactly what Israel has done.

We are all numb to this sort of systemic violence against an entire people in an entire country. One of the smallest (as yet not formally recognised by the United Nations) countries on the face of the earth has been levelled and thousands buried alive, and if not, then blown up into little bits.

The systematic destruction and levelling of every structure in the Gaza Strip by the predatory Israeli military is an act of war, exactly as perpetrated by Russia in Ukraine. Except that Russia has not to date heavily targeted hospitals, schools, and residential areas.

By contrast, Israel has carpet-bombed the entire Strip over and over again. Israel takes pride in the fact that it gives a warning that they are planning to bomb a certain location.

Sort of like telling someone that you are not going to shoot him in the head today…but tomorrow you will! Israel has over and over said that Hamas is the enemy, and it is only Hamas they are targeting. Well, the much vaunted Israeli war machine is not very good at killing the enemy, it appears.

Estimated to be 20 to 30,000 strong in 2023, Hamas now, from what can be garnered from various sources, numbers around 20 000 fighters. But the Israeli military has murdered almost 70,000 people… mainly women and children in Gaza.

So, to kill 10,000 Hamas fighters, the Israeli Warmachine has only murdered 60,000 innocent people. Congratulations, Israel, what an achievement.

For Netanyahu’s Israel, all Palestinians are synonymous with and are, to the last, Hamas. With the unfolding of events in Palestine, and the so-called Western world’s lack of testicular fortitude to tell Israel to stop this genocidal war, or to at a bare minimum to trade embargo, isolate, sanction and castigate this rogue state, the world sits on its hands.

The United States has gone out of its way to praise and worship the Nazi leader of Israel. It seems the free world is not really all that free. Western Europe talks a lot and does nothing but talk and whine some more.

Normally outspoken Canada, Australia and New Zealand prevaricate and are an embarrassment. South Africa has spoken out and taken legal action at the ICJ, but at the cost of severe recriminations from the Trump government.

The Real Politik now is that there is a player on the planet who has the testicular fortitude to have an action plan which would save Palestine, in particular the Gaza Strip, which Nazi Netanyahu is bent on eliminating from the face of the earth.

China is the only country which has the military power and political will to send an aircraft carrier and the necessary military personnel to set up a protectorate in the Gaza Strip and West Bank until Palestine can be rebuilt and repopulated by the people who live and lived there.

The Chinese can completely rebuild Palestine. The so-called Western world, the United States, Europe, and the United Nations have all shown a singular lack of anything close to forcing this travesty to stop immediately.

Can it be that China, from the far east, could intervene in the Middle East and bring it peace, which would save the Western world from its own self-destruction?
