Media personality and entrepreneur Ayanda Matsimbe (née Thabethe) has offered fans a glimpse into her lavish 40th birthday celebrations, marked by a luxurious getaway in the French Alps.
Although she celebrated her milestone on March 17, the star only recently shared highlights from her birthday trip on social media, revealing her preference for posting after the moment.
“I’m a Pisces 😂 17 March ❤️. I never post real time,” she wrote.
Matsimbe’s birthday escape was nothing short of opulent. She stayed at the prestigious Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin, located in the heart of Courchevel - one of the most exclusive ski resorts in the French Alps.

Ahead of her Alpine escape, Matsimbe kicked off her European travels in Paris.

The birthday celebrations come after a landmark year for Matsimbe. In July last year, she announced her marriage to businessman Peter Matsimbe after four years together.
Sharing moments from their intimate ceremony, she wrote: “In front of God and surrounded by love, we signed a promise that began long before pen met paper.”
In addition to tying the knot, Matsimbe achieved a significant academic milestone.
She graduated from Henley Business School after completing her Master of Business Administration (MBA), which she began in 2021.
